How it works
In rotary printing each colour of the design has its own cylindrical screen. The fabric runs continuously beneath the cylinders, each one printing its colour in register, and the cloth is then cured. Once the screens are made, every metre is printed the same way, which is what makes rotary so economical and so consistent at volume.
When to choose rotary
- Large, repeat orders of the same design.
- Curtain and home textile programmes that must match from season to season.
- Designs that have been proven in a digital sample first.
Our curtain fabrics are engineered for both digital and rotary pigment printing, so a design can move from one to the other without changing the cloth.
